Arts in the Plaza showcases fine art from the region’s most exquisite artists throughout the charming setting of St. Philip’s Plaza.  A limited capacity, juried art festival, that embraces the creativity of our region.  Attendees can find fine art in all forms – metalwork, jewelry, photography, ceramics, glass, mixed media, acrylic, digital art, leather, sculpture and custom wood designs as well as live musical entertainment.

Shemer Arizona Arts Festival

Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Formerly Sunday @ Shemer, this event has been held since 1998 at one of the most historic sites in Phoenix, the Shemer Art Center!  This year, the Shemer Art Center is pleased to announce that the Shemer Arizona Arts Festival will once again be a two-day event, to be held Saturday and Sunday, November 2 & 3, from 10 a.m. – to 4 p.m., and admission to this year’s event will once again be FREE! 

This annual event will be held just in time to kick-off holiday shopping! Over 40 artists from all across Arizona will feature one-of-a-kind works of art, plus we will have hourly artist demonstrations (schedule to be announced soon).   The event will also feature a $5 Kids Zone with interactive arts activities and a free t-shirt for all children who enter, plus sculpture garden tours, live music, food & beverage vendors like Black Cat Coffee House, Chef Wade’s Mac & Cheese, Leo’s Ice Cream and more, plus a silent auction!

Admission: FREE!

This year’s event is once again a stop on the Camelback Studio Tour and Sale, taking place at a number of home studios on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 1, 2 & 3! The Shemer Arizona Arts Festival is a great place to stop and enjoy more art, live music plus breakfast or lunch during your tours!

The Fountain Festival of Arts & Crafts features nearly 500 artisans, live music, food vendors and beer garden. All applications go through a jurying process where only the top artists in each category are accepted. It’s the perfect place to do holiday shopping, purchase art and enjoy good food and live entertainment. Many of the artists at the Fountain Festival offer unique holiday-themed ornaments that have become a family tradition. It’s a terrific way to start your holiday shopping.

Live music, abundant breakfast and lunch selections and shaded seating areas make this a great way to spend the day in Fountain Hills.

Holiday Festival of the Arts and Tree Lighting (Oro Valley)

The Oro Valley Festival of the Arts & Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration is the true essence of Creative Placemaking, cultivating the arts as an essential part of Oro Valley’s identity. The two-day festival is one of Southern Arizona’s largest community arts celebrations, with over 150 artisans, over 30 performances by student and local musicians, family arts activities, food trucks, and the TUBA CHRISTMAS holiday play-along. Saturday festivities culminate in the lighting of the Oro Valley holiday tree with activities from 3 - 6 pm.

Durango Autumn Arts Festival

Celebrating 25 years of presenting fine art and fine craft by makers from around the country, this festival takes place amidst the fall colors on quaint Second Avenue in historic downtown Durango, Colorado. The wide avenue, lined with restaurants and a variety of shops, is one block from Main Avenue, a gathering place for shoppers and the thousands of visitors that fill the town each fall.

The Willo Historic Neighborhood invites residents and Valley visitors to its 31st Annual Willo Home Tour. Willo is Phoenix’s largest historic district consisting of over 900 homes and is bordered north to south by Thomas and McDowell, and east to west by 1st Avenue and 7th Avenue.
